Beyond Jordan's products are made by local artisans and craftsmen. Each piece is individually hand crafted. This reduces or eliminates transportation and associated fossil fuel usage. Their porcelain caly slip is locally sourced and custom mixed for their designs. Nothing is imported and there is no transportation carbon footprint for their raw materials. Beyond Jordan's glazes have no lead content and are 100% FDA approved. The glazes are locally sourced and custom mixed for their designs. Packaging materials are post-comsumer recycled bio-degradable Geami wrap. They also void fill their post-consumer recycled cardboard shipping boxes with corn-starch bio-degradable "peanuts".
