Original Hand Blown Design by Matthew Buechner
Matthew's glass is exhibited and sold internationally and is included in the collections of the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York and in the Fraunau Museum of Glass in Fraunau, Germany.
The process of glass blowing includes gathering the molten (2000° F) glass into the end of a steel pipe, blowing and shaping the glass and decorating it with "bits" of molten glass, colored glass frit or cane, or gold and silver leaf. After the glass has cooled down over-night in an annealing oven, it is finished and signed.
Our hand-blown glassware should never be put in the dishwasher. Gently hand wash with warm water and mild dish detergent. Use only warm water and a soft, non abrasive cloth on gold or silver leaf.
Hanging wire and hook included.
