Our White Clay Wine Cooler is made for Ocean Offerings, by Clay Trout Pottery. Approximately 4 ½" wide and 6" high. Easily fits most 1.5 L wine bottles. It is coated with a patina of colored clay, hand rubbed and then fired in the kin. This gives the Wine Cooler a rich mossy "aged" look which enhances its beauty. To Use: Soak wine cooler in water then chill in the refrigerator - not the freezer. Bring to the table, place wine bottle in it. The evaporation of the water from the porous clay creates a natural cooling process. For red wine, use the wine cooler at room temperature to create a festive serving container. A Great Gift!
